Are you a finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you love rolling up your sleeves, solving problems, and leading a small, high performing team? We're seeking a Financial Controller for a fixed-term maternity leave cover, starting early to mid August 2025 through to mid July 2026. In this critical role, you’ll oversee financial operations across the business, drive efficiency, and play a key role in supporting leadership through accurate, timely reporting and insights.

Based in Cannon Hill, you'll enjoy free parking, excellent public transport links, and easy access to great coffee shops and lunch spots. Plus, we offer hybrid work flexibility, with two days per week from home!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading financial and Board reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple sites.
  • Managing and mentoring the Finance team, including Payroll & Accounts Payable.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.
  • Driving process improvements, efficiencies, and financial best practices.
  • Collaborating with other teams to achieve company wide goals.
  • Supporting high impact projects beyond finance as we scale and grow.

What We’re Looking For

  • CPA/CA qualified with proven financial leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to see the big picture.
  • A flexible mindset – things move quickly, and we need someone who thrives in a fast paced environment!
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a deep understanding of business objectives.
  • Experience supporting multi-site financial operations.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI.
