People & Culture Advisor Full Time | 5 days per week | Hybrid – 3 days Support Office, 2 days WFH | $80,000 – $90,000 p.a. + Super

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused People & Culture Advisor to join our Support Office team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role, with three days based in our Support Office and two days working from home each week.

This role sits at the heart of our People & Culture function, providing essential advisory and administrative services for managing our human resources. You will partner with management to assess staffing needs, facilitate recruitment, advise on workplace relations, and ensure our employee records and compliance requirements are accurately maintained across our HR systems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Advisory & Employee Relations: Providing advice and information to management on workplace relations policies, procedures, staff performance, dispute resolution, and disciplinary matters.
  • Recruitment & Selection: Assessing staffing needs, receiving job vacancy information, arranging for vacancy advertising, and assisting in the interviewing, testing, and selection of staff.
  • Induction & Employee Support: Arranging staff induction and providing accurate information on conditions of service, salaries, entitlements, and promotional opportunities.
  • HRIS & Records Management: Maintaining complex personnel records and overseeing associated human resource information systems (HRIS) to process employee lifecycle changes.
  • Compliance & Risk: Monitoring regulatory compliance across the workforce, including mandatory Working with Children Checks, and assisting with implementing occupational health and safety (OHS) programs.
  • Reporting & Workforce Planning: Producing comprehensive HR reports, conducting compliance audits, and maintaining accurate people data to advise stakeholders on workforce trends.
  • Employee Representation: Assisting in organising employee representatives and negotiating with employers/management on behalf of employees where necessary.

About you: You are a confident HR professional who genuinely enjoys delivering expert advice and getting the details right. You possess strong system capabilities and a consultative approach to problem-solving.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or at least five years of relevant experience in a dedicated HR advisory role (to meet ANZSCO Skill Level 1 requirements).
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining human resource information systems and providing policy advice to management.
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the confidence to follow complex employee relations matters through to completion.
