Your Early Learning journey starts at school
Are you ready to take your high school journey to the next level? Here at Story House Early Learning, we offer School-based traineeships. We mean why wouldn’t you want the opportunity to earn a paycheck, learning directly from experienced Educators, whilst building a career path that will set you up for success, all while finishing your schooling?
Here’s what you’ll get:
- Earn while you learn: Get paid for your work and start earning valuable experience.
- Real-life experience: Gain hands-on training in the real world. No more just theory!
- Be working toward your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Is It Right for You?
There are a few key requirements to consider:
- You must be in Years 10, 11, or 12.
- You must work a minimum number of hours and of course you will get paid!
- Your Parents/guardians must support your decision.
- Some of your work and training will happen during school hours.

Dress code at Story House leans towards smart casual, offering a departure from the traditional button-up shirt work environment. We only ask that you avoid attire that might raise eyebrows with your parents – so leave the three-piece suit or ball gown at home.
