At Story House Early Learning, we're on an exciting journey to introduce Xap across our growing network of services, and we're looking for someone who loves systems, thrives on solving problems and enjoys making complex projects run smoothly.
As our Xap Specialist, you'll become the go-to expert for one of the biggest technology transformations in our organisation. Working closely with our IT Project & Change Manager, you'll help configure services, validate data, test new functionality and support our teams through every stage of implementation.
If you're the type of person who gets satisfaction from organised spreadsheets, perfectly configured systems and seeing a project come together, you'll fit right in.
๐ป You'll become our Xap expert.
This isn't just about data entry.
You'll build expert knowledge of Xap and become the person our Service Managers and Support Office teams turn to for advice, troubleshooting and guidance throughout the rollout.
You'll work closely with our implementation partners while helping ensure every Story House service is set up correctly before go-live.
๐ Every day will look a little different.
One day you might be configuring new centres and validating billing data. The next you'll be testing new functionality, supporting a pilot service or helping solve a tricky implementation issue.
You'll be part of a collaborative project team that's bringing a brand-new childcare management system to life across services in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
Your days will include:
- Configuring centres, rooms, users, billing and system settings in Xap.
- Validating migration data and completing quality assurance checks before services go live.
- Troubleshooting system issues and supporting Service Managers throughout implementation.
- Testing new functionality and helping improve system processes.
- Maintaining implementation documentation, trackers and project records.
- Working alongside internal stakeholders and Xap consultants to keep the rollout on track.
๐ฏ We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience using Xap or similar CCMS systems (highly regarded).
- Previous experience supporting software implementations or large system projects.
- Strong administration skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence working with Excel and learning new systems quickly.
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities while staying organised.
- Experience in Early Childhood Education and Care (desirable but not essential).
Why Story House?
At Story House, we're a growing organisation where innovation is encouraged and your ideas are valued.
You'll join a supportive team that's passionate about making things better, not just maintaining the status quo. We believe technology should make life easier for our services, and you'll play a key role in making that happen.
If you enjoy improving processes, solving problems and being part of projects that make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
Who We Are
- Committed to a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- We donโt just welcome you as you are, we celebrate you for your diversity, differences and history.
- Services across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria
