Opening AUGUST 2026 | Brand-New 92-Place Service | 5 Rooms | Ferntree Gully

Looking for your next leadership opportunity within Story House? 🧩

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you know the early years lay the foundation for lifelong learning and this is your opportunity to help shape that foundation from day one.

Our brand-new Ferntree Gully service is opening this August, and we’re seeking a bachelor-qualified (minimum) ECT from within our Story House network to run our STRONG Beginnings curriculum across the 3 - 5 year old age groups.

But what does the journey look like from here?

If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to attend an internal interview process with members of our leadership team.

This process will focus on our Story House values, pedagogical leadership, mentoring approach and how you contribute to safe, inclusive and engaging environments for children, families and teams.

This is more than an interview. It’s your opportunity to:

🧩 Learn more about the vision for the new service
🧩 Share your leadership style and educational philosophy
🧩 Demonstrate how you guide quality practice and mentor teams
🧩 Show us how you bring our values to life each day

We’re intentionally building this team from day one and we want every piece to fit beautifully.

Before applying, please ensure you have had a conversation with your current manager regarding your interest in the opportunity.
